World's Most Beautiful Bird Original Indonesia


This Name Bird Is the Bird of Paradise Or Indonesian Burung Cendrawasih

The cendrawasih is only found on the island of Papua Island (Papua, Indonesia & Papua New Guinea. There are at least 37 other species of the bird of paradise that also make their homes on this island. The males are known to gather in a specific tree together in the morning and will engage in mutual display, where they fluff out their extensive colorful feathers to try and attract a female. They live in the tops of trees and in the underbrush, making nests in tree branches and holes.

 Cendrawasih Bird is the Indonesian word for the bird of paradise. The Raggiana bird of paradise (Paradisaea raggiana) is the national bird of New Guinea, and its figure graces everything from money to stamps to taxi cabs. Because they have such rare and beautiful plumage, birds of paradise have been hunted for centuries, and their feathers have been used for decoration and their supposed mystical properties. They are currently listed as endangered and trapping and export are illegal, but all species of the bird of paradise are still being traded illegally on the black market.

Interesting Fact: After trading plumes of birds of paradise with early European explorers, local tribes told them that the birds were the birds of the gods and never touched earth, feeding only on dew. This story accentuated the value of the birds for over 100 years, and the feathers were in such high demand that it almost killed off the species.

Burung Merak or PeaCock

Peacock is Pavo cristatus and family can be found in the Indian Peafowl hutan.Populasi spread in open forest with grasslands in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan. Previously this species was found also in Bangladesh, but now most likely extinct there.The word peacock actually refers to the male bird (peafowls), while females are peahens, and the young are peachicks Peafowl are included in the scientific classification:
Peacock is one of the largest bird species. They attract the attention of people around the world. This majestic bird does not migrate. Peacock is mainly divided into three categories-the most common among them are Indian Peafowl, Green Peafowl, White Peacock.

The birds of paradise are members of the order Passeriformes Paradisaeidae family. They are found in eastern Indonesia, the islands of the Torres Strait, Papua New Guinea, Australia and the east. This family of birds known as bird feathers on the males of many kinds, especially hair that is very elongated and complex that grows from the beaks, wings or head.  The most famous birds of paradise are members of the genus Paradisaea, including its type species, large yellow bird of paradise, Paradisaea apoda. It is not known to the explorers and lead to the belief that these birds never landed but remain in the air because of the feathers. This is the origin of a bird of paradise ('bird paradise' by the British) and a type apoda - which means 'no-legged'.
