Peacock is Pavo cristatus and family can be found in the Indian Peafowl hutan.Populasi spread in open forest with grasslands in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan. Peacock is one of the largest bird species. They attract the attention of people around the world. This majestic bird does not migrate. Peacock is mainly divided into three categories-the most common among them are Indian Peafowl, Green Peafowl, White Peacock.
Indian Peafowl has a shiny dark blue feathers. Large adult male birds, can reach 230cm in length, cover with very long tails of metallic green. Overhead there is a blue upright crest forming a fan. Peafowl are omnivorous, eating grasses and seeds as well as small snakes and lizards as well.
